About
Pentax-K SLR.
There are too many sites fully dedicated to this historical brand.
Any Pentaxist has his own favorite. Mine are: K1000,
cause it is rugged and aeternal, MX, cause it is
compact, fully mechanical no-compromise jewel, LX
cause of its incredible hi-tech and unusual solutions, the real
"pro" Pentax camera system, fully mechanical and fully
electronic, and in the autofocus era MZM, the cheapest,
lightest one. The most simple interface you can dream on an electronical
slr. Full features, no instruction manual needed, to end with MZ-S,
with a great interface scheme, innovative and strange, a big market
flop.
Digital use:
First of all any Pentax or Samsung-pentax mount D-slr can use this
lens, as the M42 previous version with an M42 adapter.
On Canon Eos cameras, with an adapter you can find
easily on ebay, you can mount the lens... but a caveat! Pentax K
aperture pin may protude inside the camera and should be removed...
could prevent you from mounting the lens, as well could be in the
clearence of the mirror path if you use a fullframe camera.
